Maya is heavily introverted, struggling to form connections with other people. Suffers with extreme depersonalization and body image issues, causing her to fixate on her appearance. She’s ostracised and socially outcasted, rumours circulated around school has destroyed her reputation completely. She’s sweet and grounded but struggles to make and maintain friendship as she can’t relate to the people around her. Her closest relationship is with Lena, Lena feels comfortable around her; there’s a mutual understanding between both of them, but their relationship is kept behind closed doors and mostly one-sided to avoid scrutiny from others. A push-over who accepts what little affection is given to her.
